GLBT VICTIMS OF SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 GRANTED POSTHUMOUS CITIZENSHIP



The Provisional Government of the Dominion of Lambda today announced that all gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender victims of the attacks of September 11, 2001 were granted posthumous Certificates of Citizenship if their spouses or families requested them.


In announcing this measure, Angela Martin-Wright, Minister of Justice and Attorney General and Donald Pleasance-Cloutier, the Minister of Immigration and Naturalisation stood with Prime Minister Raymond Sawyer Decelles-Smith, in order to answer more specific questions after the prime minister left the dais.


The Prime Minister referenced a website dedicated to all the GLBT victims, as well as friends and families.
