ROYAL ASSENT TO LAMBDA CONSTITUTION

On September 6, 2009, Royal Assent was given to the new Lambda Constitution. Royal Assent asserts the fact that Lambda is now a constitutional monarchical parliamentary democracy.

The Governor General presented the signed documents to the interim Prime Minister and the Chief Justice of the Lambda Supreme Court, and the Minister of Justice and Attorney General who will put copies of the signed originals in the Royal Lambda Archives.

The Minister of State and President of the Queen's Privy Council did today announce that the Constitution permits the declaration of Open Polls from October 1-31, 2009 for the First Parliamentary Governmental elections. On November 1, 2009, the Governor General will invite the Leader of the winning majority in the House of Commons to form the government.

There are 150 open ridings in the House of Commons. The Speaker of the House is chosen and he is without party affiliation. Each of the seats are designated by province and number in total.

For example....The Honourable....Jane Doe.......Liberal-Toklas 10. The provinces are Wilde, Toklas and King. The federal capital is located in Toklas Province and is Jamestown, named after the gay English and Scottish monarch who commissioned the King James version of Scripture, King James I of England and VI of Scotland (Stuart).
